This project will replace the existing plant and increase treatment capacity to 6.5 ML/day, enhancing water supply resilience, operational flexibility, and service levels for the growing Cambridge community. The contractor will work closely with Council and the design consultant (PDP Consultants) to: • Provide input into the final design and construction methodology. • Assist with identifying and planning the procurement of additional long-lead items. • Develop a firm, auditable construction price for the subsequent physical works contract. • Prepare for delivery of construction works anticipated to commence in March 2026. This contract works will utilise a NZ3910:2013 contract. The ECI contractor will have the opportunity to continue on to the construction phase (Separable Portion 2) subject to satisfactory performance during the ECI phase and agreement on price.
