The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has received financing toward the cost of the Turkey Climate Smart and Competitive Agricultural Growth Project (TUCSAP) through a loan agreement signed with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the World Bank and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for “Construction of Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) and Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) Laboratories at the Istanbul (Pendik), Izmir (Bornova), and Konya Veterinary Control Institute Directorates”. 2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Livestock, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) and Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) Laboratories at the Istanbul (Pendik), Izmir (Bornova), and Konya Veterinary Control Institute Directorates. The construction period for each facility is 365 days. Defect Notification Period is 180 days. 3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Interested eligible Bidders may review the tender documents at the address listed below or by sending a request to the email address provided below.
