NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center intends to award a single source contract to Sensor System LLC. to acquire fifteen (15) newly manufactured ASR-8 Encoders. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures as Sensor Systems LLC. is the original manufacturer of this Encoder, owns all proprietary data rights and proprietary information necessary to manufacture the assets In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform the industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Sensor Systems LLC.and is not available for full and open competition.
