RFx ID: 32641863 Organisation: Land Information New Zealand Open date: Tuesday, 30 September 2025 12:00 PM +13:00 Close date: Tuesday, 21 October 2025 3:00 PM +13:00 Categories: The United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) Region: Canterbury Marlborough Otago Tasman Overview: Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) is seeking a service provider to manage biosecurity and biodiversity services on Crown land as part of the delivery of LINZ's Annual Biosecurity Programme (Programme). The Programme covers both aquatic and terrestrial environments, focusing on pest plant and animal management. The current contract for these services expires on 30 June 2026, and LINZ is planning a two-stage open market tender process to appoint a provider or providers (hereafter referred to as ‘service provider’) to commence delivery of services on 1 July 2026 (with an initial transition period commencing from March 2026). LINZ’s preference is for a single service provider across all work packages, but is open to appointing multiple service providers, dependent on the responses received. The estimated whole-of-life total contract cost for all packages is c.$46-$58M based on the annual appropriation value and adhoc additional funding (excluding GST) over 10 years.
