The service will: • Be peer-led and support tāngata whaiora with moderate to severe mental health and addiction challenges. • Provide a range of daily activities with therapeutic benefits, including opportunities for tāngata whaiora to design and lead activities. • Offer a consumer advocacy service as part of recovery support. • Operate from a centrally located, accessible premises (close to health and support services, on public transport routes). • Include a fully equipped kitchen that meets council food safety and hygiene regulations. • Be available for seven-day service delivery. • Be provided in a community setting that is mobile, accessible, and inclusive of people with disabilities. • Ensure peer lived experience roles are represented at all levels, including leadership and management. • Encourage connection with whānau and community. • Be open to collaborative service models.
