Carpentry services/display sacks, framework agreement

Summary

The competition is for the provision of carpentry services connected to various exhibitions. An important part of the National Library of Norway's activity is to highlight and communicate the collection in an interest-opening way to the public. Exhibition activities are an important part of the National Library ́s total cultural dissemination. Every year the National Library creates a large temporary exhibition. In addition we can have several smaller exhibitions/material presentation projects in our premises at Solli plass in Oslo. The number of exhibitions and the size/complexity of these can vary. The contracting authority has the right to leave the framework agreement if there is a need for more large temporary exhibitions than expected and there are other special needs thereof, for example due to competence requirements, financing requirements, cooperation with other cultural institutions etc. The larger exhibitions can be for up to six weeks construction time. There is a need for stable and secure access to capable carousitation services for the exhibitions. The procurement ́s value is estimated to: NOK 400,000 - NOK 2,000,000 excluding VAT per annum. The maximum value for the entire contract period, including any options and expected price rise: NOK 12,500,000 excluding VAT. The need is uncertain. The estimate is not binding for the contracting authority. The volume can vary both up and down and the contract period will depend on, among other things, the contracting authority ́s needs, activities, budgetary situations and other framework factors.
