Tender summary

The scope of the service consists of receiving and final processing services. In this competition, reception and final treatment services can be provided at the same address/location (Bergen, Askøy and Øygarden municipalities) as long as complete services are provided. The supplier of the waste type is BIR Nyverdi AS at its nine environmental stations. Bir Voss Hardanger (Bjørkemoen 46 - 5709 Voss) will also need the services in addition. The waste is compound/mixed (not milled) and is defined as pure wood Per annum the estimated volume is approx. 20,000 tons. Emphasis is put on the fact that a smaller amount of MDF plates/kitchen/cupboards etc. are included in the wood function. Open containers at the environmental station will cause humidity during periods of heavy rain. In periods it may be necessary to use parts of the volume as spare fuel in the incineration plant in Rådalen. Tenderers in question for BIR shall/must deliver to a local reception facility in Bergen, Øygarden or Askøy municipalities. Collecting the waste at each location is not possible here justified by logistical distances, finances as well as signed and binding framework agreements on transport.
