Tender summary
You are invited to submit a quotation for the provision of a service for collection and disposal of deceased waterfowl from Birmingham Pools and Parks. Birmingham has a large number of natural and manmade lakes and reservoirs, which are home to a variety of bird species. The UK has for some time seen a high incidence of Avian Influenza as well as outbreaks of botulism. During outbreaks of these diseases Birmingham City Council requires a supplier to provide a service for the removal of waterfowl corpses from the water and the waters edge in order to comply with public health protection and avian influenza regulations. The contract for this service will be for a period of 12 months. Further details may be found in the specification within the attached quotation document.
