The Contract Works comprise of: • Deconstruct a section of existing rock and concrete scour protection • Re-construct a new rock and concrete buttress • Excavate approx. 100m of trench for new micropile wall and capping beam • Install approx. 100m of new micro pile wall comprising 21m deep 200mm diam steel cased grout filled micro piles • Construct stepped reinforced concrete capping beam • Install four new inclinometer holes to 40m depth • Construct approx. 30m of new rock revetment (rip rap) • Complete associated temporary works required to form safe working platforms and to gain access to areas of the site • Ancillary works including sourcing and stockpiling of appropriate materials required for the works • Statutory Approval condition requirements Only tenderers pre-qualified to NZTA level 3D and/or 4D under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.
