The existing interior finishing materials have reached the end of their lifecycle and become old and require replacement with new finishes, including the introduction of usable and upgraded spaces. This project will require site visits for tendering only and the appropriate inspections to determine the supply and installation of the required materials. Design documentation and scope of works will be provided. All documentation will be prepared by a representative consultant, to NZ Safety Codes and MoE standards. All procedures to comply with MoE property legislation. Nature of Works consists of : Block 1 – Hall : Interior refurbishment, end of life replacement. New wall covering to Hall for acoustics (composition on walls). Block 2 – Classrooms 1 – 8 : Interior refurbishment, end of life replacement. Remove existing pinboards, replace with new wall coverings. Remove existing carpet and replace with new carpet. No carpet replacement to classrooms 5,6,7 as these have recently had carpet replaced. Block 8 – Toilets : Interior refurbishment, end of life replacement. Replacement of wall, ceiling and floor linings. Replace WC pans, basins, light fittings. Install a new HWC. Complete refurbishment required to the interior of these toilets. Exterior roofing and cladding to the toilets in Block8 to be replaced as part of the Roofing project. Block 10 – Classrooms 10 - 15 : Interior refurbishment, end of life replacement. Remove existing pinboards, replace with new wall coverings. Remove existing carpet and replace with newcarpet.
