RFI Te Tari Pūreke - Booking solution for firearms safety training

Te Tari Pūreke have recently transitioned the function of safety training delivery away from NZ Mountain Safety Council and from 1st July 2025 will be delivering all firearms safety training courses for new firearms licence applicants. To manage the firearms safety training booking process and fulfil our regulatory and functional requirements we require a solution that; - enables new firearms applicants to find, book, manage and attend courses - enables instructors to manage the delivery, attendance, and results of those courses - enables administrators to manage the overall course schedule of courses, bookings and allocation of instructors We expect the solution will also have the following key features / hallmarks - support our branding though customisation of look and feel + content - handle and store information in a secure way security that meets privacy standards - be provided under a SaaS (Software as a Service) model with data housed in AU/NZ region - able to be operated with zero to minimal integration to Te Tari Pureke and Police Systems We understand that our required solution has elements of the following solution types - booking management - venue management - course management - LMS (Learning Management Solution) We encourage potential vendors to read our detailed requirements and assess how much of our requirements could be covered by your solution. The booking solution plays a critical role in enabling the delivery of firearms safety training to firearms licence applicants. The solution will be utilised by up to 500 new firearms licence applicants per month and will be critical in connecting those applicants to the many courses that we will be running nationwide all year round. Your solution could be one of the key components in helping us deliver on our mission statement.
