We are looking to establish agreement(s) for the ongoing supply of these appliances which meet our specifications and operational requirements, and incorporate advanced safety systems, latest technologies, and more fuel-efficient engines. The Advance Notice for the future RFP for Type 2 pumping appliances, (2WD and 4WD variants) has also been posted on Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS): Refer: RFx ID - 31536742 Reference No. 4249 Advance Notice for Type 2 Pumping Appliances 2WD and 4WD The Type 2 RFP is planned to follow the Type 1 RFP sometime after the submission of Type 1 RFP responses. We are posting the Advance Notice for the Type 2 RFP now so that suppliers are aware of our upcoming plans. Also, as the specifications for Type 1 and Type 2 appliances are similar, we the understand that suppliers may be interested in both RFPs now, as there could be efficiencies at the design stage of the Type 1 pumping appliances.
