Summary
The National Gallery of Australia (The National Gallery) requires fully centralised offsite mail screening of incoming postal mail from their Post Office Box in Canberra and national mail distribution. Processing is required at least three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) at a service provider’s secure offsite facility capable of providing full security screening of mail to be delivered by trained ‘safe handling’ personnel. The National Gallery requires a service provider who can identify and respond to chemical, biological, radiological, and explosive materials, as well as contraband and dangerous items. The provider must use appropriate apparel to detect potential threats and handle suspect items through a robust suspect items process. The National Gallery is seeking a supplier who can provide the most competitive offer and establish a contractual partnership before the current contract expires on July 31, 2025 to enable any required transition and enable continuous mail screening services to the National Gallery.
