These facilities are: York Valley Landfill – 102 Market Road, Bishopdale, Nelson Eves Valley Landfill – 214 Eves Valley Road, Waimea West, Tasman These landfills serve as regional waste disposal sites for municipal solid waste generated across the Nelson Tasman region and currently accept waste from the Buller district. Currently, York Valley Landfill is the primary facility in use and will continue to accept waste until its current cell, Gully 1, reaches capacity – originally projected for 2031 or until expiry of its existing resource consents (December 2034). NTRLBU is procuring each technical component individually to ensure that every assessment is carried out by professionals with the most relevant expertise in their respective fields. Respondents are invited to tender for one or more work packages; however, each package will be assessed and evaluated independently. It is therefore essential that each submission stands alone and is capable of being reviewed on its own merits. There are two tendering options for this work package (LANDFILL ENGINEERING): 1. Technical Assessment Provider – responsible for conducting the assessment as further described in 2.4. 2. Peer Reviewer – responsible for independently reviewing the assessment to ensure it meets the highest technical standards as further described in 2.8. Respondents may submit tenders for both the Technical Assessment Provider and Peer Reviewer roles across multiple work packages; however, they must tender for each role separately.
